I’m sitting in the livingroom drinking rose flavored water enjoying Aidinha’s post in room lit with candles. It’s really all about roses this summer. Been missing my Elemental’s as of late. I’ve been lucky enough to see some of you this year. Mandy, Lisa, and Emily at Mandy’s wedding and of course I live with C-dawg which is always a plus. I also got to speak with Joanne for a bit one evening which was a treat indeed.
My life is quite surreal right now. Seems these days I’m barely keeping up with everything that happens. As you all know I released They Be We which has been an incredible project. I am so grateful to everyone that participated with the book and to those interested in joining the collective and adding their own photos to the blog, facebook, and flickr pages. I’m also working on some new paintings and a tarot deck with Sherene Schostak. They Be We is starting to get some good press and I have a few interviews coming up in the future. A lovely interview was just posted on Peppered Thought and can be seen here.
Constellation Magazine is doing well and we have just made Mandy our new assistant editor. Mandy, Sherene, and I will be managing the blog which is a little stark right now but should soon be filled with astro tidbits and goodies as well as updates on our interviewees. We will also be introducing podcasts soon. The blog’s internet home lies here. If anyone wants to contribute anything please drop me a line and I will gladly post any recipes, astro info, art, photos, etc…
My other baby Knickerbocker Circus is receiving a lot of interest as well. I’m hoping that soon everything will meld together and life will become even more divine.
Spiritually I am working closely with the dead, as this is where my work lies. I have a spirit worker blog that I update every once in a while. I will share it with all of you as you are my sisters. paataachimushtiwaau I am still very much involved with Santeria as the Orisha’s are my heart. Eventually I have to make Palo. Palo is separate from Santeria but will teach me how to work with the darker spirits.
Other than that life has been good. I’m enjoying the photo shoots, parties, and meetings to no end and I’m loving promoting everything. Like a few of you I am really inspired right now. Doors are opening and life is quite lovely.
Have I ever told you that you remind me of Franseca Lia Block? Your words remind me of her words. I love everything she writes, by the way.
I’ve never read anything by her but a lot of my friends absolutely adore her. I will have to check her out.
